A Quick Question&Answer
Q: What made you launch your Youtube/Instagram page?
N: I’ve always had a passion for makeup, but I’ve never thought anything of it. When I was growing up, makeup bloggers and bloggers in general were unheard of. Once I completed high school I started studying towards a degree I told I would be good at – a few months past and I hated every minute of it. I didn’t really enjoy high school so I’m not exactly sure what I was expecting. Anyway, Instagram recently launched and like every app that goes viral you want to see what it’s all about so I signed up. A while past and I started following beauty legends such as Anastasia Beverly Hills, she would repost work of makeup artists and I thought to myself ‘I want to be that person’.
Q: What is your current go-to make up product?
N: I swear by the Maybelline SuperStay Foundation – it’s my absolute favourite! Others include ABH Dipbrow, Benefit Hoola Bronzer and Chi Chi Eyeshadows.
Q: Who are your biggest beauty influencers?
N: Definitely Anastasia Beverly Hills and Huda Beauty, I feel like that’s so cliche as they are two of the main beauty influencers on Instagram – but both of them have such incredible stories and are so inspiring. However in saying that, I am discovering new artists each and every day. The makeup community is filled with so much talent and it’s great to see bloggers supporting one another.
Q: If you weren’t in the beauty industry, what would you be doing?
N: If I’m honest, I have no bloody idea! I’ve often thought about this and the thought makes me scared as I cannot think of anything else I would enjoy doing let alone be good at. Sure there’s odd jobs here and there but to do that full time would totally change how I feel about it.
Q: What are your goals for 2017?
N: I’m really trying to concentrate on my YouTube Channel this year – I love creating makeup looks and acting goofy on camera. As great as Instagram is, it doesn’t allow your whole personality to shine and I think people often perceive you as someone different.
