Best bronzers

Since it’s summer here in Australia everyone wants to have a beautiful glowing tan while not having to compromise their skin to harsh UV rays and light. Therefore the obvious answer is to invest in the best facial bronzers which will brighten and give dimension to your face and also come in handy when you need to bronze up your neck and décolletage (nothing worse than a tan face/white neck). So we have collated a list of the best bronzers to get your summer glow on!

Rimmel natural bronzer – $15.95 available at Priceline.

This bronzer is so easy to blend on your face and has a great pay off with colour. It never looks orange or streaky, and you can build up the coverage to your desire. Overall a great bronzer that doesn’t break the bank!

Nars Laguna bronzer – $57 – available at Mecca cosmetic.

If you’ve ever applied makeup then I’m sure you’ve heard of this infamous bronzer by Nars which many believe to be the holy grail of bronzers, and we’ve got to admit it most definitely lives up to the hype. It’s hard to go wrong with this product, even if you drunkenly applied an insane amount onto your brush you would still look like a perfect bronzed goddess. The consistency of it is dreamy and really a no fail for all times.

Hoola bronzer by Benefit – $51 – available at Sephora.

For those of you who don’t like a shimmery bronzer this is the product for you. A rich and beautiful matte texture will make you looking like you just came back from a tropical island without the shimmer. Very chic indeed.

Chanel soleil tan de Chanel – $69 – available at Myer or David Jones

This bronzer is the priciest of the bunch but by golly is it a high quality product. It is a cream-gel formula which glides on the skin with absolute ease. Because it is so silky it allows the product to be easily blended giving you all the power to create how much of a bronzed glow you want. Some people even opt to use it as a glowing foundation for an all over tanned look.

Estee Lauder bronze goddess – $60 – available at Myer and David Jones.

This bronzer adds a beautiful glow and tan to your skin without an orangey streak. It packs a luxuriously smooth consistency and has an “oil-control complex” which is always a great thing to hear in the middle of sweaty summer.

Benefit sun beam – $45 – available at Sephora.

For those of you who like a liquid bronzer then look no further! This will make your face absolutely glow, and the fact that it is a liquid formula is sure to have your face looking beautifully healthy and summery. What more could you want?
