Summer Foundations To Prevent Flashback
Summer lovin’, look like a ghost in photographs were not the lyrics to Grease’s hit song. Nor should they be what you have to deal with from your foundation regarding flashback from SPF containing foundations. Luckily we at Beautifinda have tried and tested some high, mid and low end foundations that are perfect for summertime and that photograph beautifully.
For The Daytime
Napoleon Perdis’ Autopilot BB Cream SPF 30 is an anti-ageing, moisturising, lightweight yet skin perfecting BB cream available for $35 at Myer. With just this and some waterproof brow gel you’re good to go for the beach or for that summertime hike. Available in two shades, Dark and Light.
For All The Time
Nars Sheer Glow is a cult favourite. With 19 colours in the shade range, it’s easy to find your own with a mix of warm and cool undertones. No flashback can be seen from this hydrating foundation great for normal to dry skins only an even skin tone with all day coverage. Available at Mecca Cosemtica for $66.
For Work Such a humble brand from Priceline, at only $19 Rimmel’s Lasting Finish Foundation packs a punch for it’s pharmacy status. With “comfort serum” technology and (as it says on the bottle) a lasting finish, Rimmel’s foundation offers SPF 20, medium coverage and is favourably reviewed. 6 colours are available in the shade range.
For Nights Out
Loreal True Match had customers up in arms when they began discontinuing shades in 2008. The beloved product works so well that customers would buy in bulk for fear that they would run out and that the company would discontinue their own shade. Loreal has since come up with new shades and added to the range, totalling 15 colours. True Match ranges from Ivory Rose to Cappuccino and is a full coverage, satin finish available at Priceline for $30.
