So crack open the glittery eye shadows and red lipsticks because ‘tis the season!
Chloe Morello @chloemorello is one of the best makeup vloggers in the country, if not the world. Here she gives us a holiday glam look perfect for an end of year party or Christmas day. She uses her own Ciaté London palette which is amazing, and we wish it would stop selling out because we need it. It also never hurts that Chloe always provides a good lol in her vlogs.
Let’s just get this out of the way to begin with, Raye Boyce @itsmyrateraye is an absolute stunner and of course so talented! She only reinforces these facts in this holiday makeup tutorial by giving us a beautifully bold look which is sure to make people give you a double take all night long. She pairs a beautiful nude, smoky eye with a deep, dark lip so if you’re into rocking a bold lip this is the festive season look for you.
In this holiday tutorial Michelle Phan @michellephan gives us a beautiful look perfect for a day time party such as a BBQ or Christmas day lunch. Michelle applies purple tones on her eyelids and pairs it with a light pink lip-gloss. So if you’re a fan of soft, pretty makeup then look no further! Brownie points to Michelle for always pairing the makeup look with accessories or an outfit to inspire a full head to toe look.
Nikkie @nikkietutorials knows how to execute an absolutely ***flawless makeup look, and this holiday glam tutorial just reinforces that fabulous fact. She pairs a bold matte red lip with gold iridescent sparkly eyes giving us an utterly glamorous look. What better colours for the festive season than gold and red?
Lisa Eldridge @lisaeldridgemakeup is a renowned British makeup artist (and current global creative director of Lancôme) who has clients ranging from Kate Winslet to Cara Delevingne, so it’s no wonder she has a great festive makeup tutorial. Lisa rolls out some great gift ideas while also applying some of them throughout the tutorial, which gives you an insight into what the products look like if you fancy buying them for someone special (or treating yourself of course).
One of Australia’s favourite vloggers, Lauren Curtis @lozcurtis gives us the traditional Christmas look here with a beautiful red lip and winged liner. But to make the look a bit fresher Lauren pops a bit of white eyeliner under the black wing as well as popping some green eyeliner along the bottom lash line, meaning all Christmas colour bases are sorted.
If you’re not the biggest fan of wearing a bold lip then we would definitely be trying this red copper smoky eye because it is amazing! Jaclyn Hill @jaclynhill also paints a little drop of glitter underneath the eye which just screams festive fun!
So there you have it, hopefully these tutorials will inspire you for the festive season! Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, these makeup ideas are great for an end of year party, BBQ or a special dinner. If you can’t crack open your best makeup and try something extravagant at this time of year, then when can you?
